On October 13, we marked the end of support for Office 2010 and Office 2016 for Mac. This means that we’ll no longer provide technical support, bug fixes, or security updates for these products, and organizations that continue to use them may face increased security risks and compliance issues over time. Although Microsoft crafted Office 2016 for Mac to be much more like its bigger sibling on Windows, one thing has not changed: Mac Office 2016 users continue to get the short end of the support.

End of Mainstream Support: Cloud Platform System. Exchange Server 2010 (all editions) Exchange Server 2016 (Enterprise, Standard) Office Home and Business 2016 Office Home. Released in 2015, Office 2016 mainstream support is due to end in October 2020. Microsoft has confirmed that this will be followed by 5 years of extended support until October 2023; however, in Feb 2018 they announced that Office 2016 will no longer be compatible with Office 365 after October 2020.

Microsoft has a support lifetime for each of their products. Below is a list of software that has or soon will reach its end of life and support. You should not run software that is not supported, since it may contain security issues that are not fixed and can put your computer and information at risk. Michael Spice can help you with replacement and updating to a supported version of Office, Windows and Windows Server.
